The Family Partnership (TFP) has named Lorena Pinto as Vice President of Programs responsible for overseeing 13 programs and 65 staff members. After a regional search, she was promoted from her role as TFP’s Director of the PRIDE (Promoting Recovery, Independence, Dignity and Equality) program for survivors of sex trafficking.
“Lorena embraces our vision and values and brings a great understanding of the families we serve,” said Molly Greenman, TFP President & CEO. “She has demonstrated expertise in direct service delivery and program management– transforming existing programs and creating new ones to address emerging needs.”
This past year, Pinto led PRIDE in creating a survivor group to give them a “voice” as leaders in our community. She previously led TFP’s Mobility Mentoring™ evidence-based coaching trial within PRIDE.
Pinto is both a recognized leader within TFP and in the external community, receiving the Minnesota Council of nonprofits Catalytic Leader award in 2019. For the past two years, she served as director of the Twin Cities New Leader’s Council, an organization that helps equip leaders of color with the skills to run for office, manage campaigns, create start-ups and network with other thought leaders.
